Visitor Management and Compliance

Regulatory and Industry Compliance has become an increasingly important reason for organizations to invest in Visitor Tracking software, and EasyLobby closely follows regulatory initiatives in the industries we serve to assure that our customers are able to utilize EasyLobby's SVM software and systems to remain both compliant and safe.

With Visitor Tracking software providing powerful reporting and tracking of guest sign-in and sign-out activities, EasyLobby can help you enforce visitor access rules that must be adhered to across the enterprise.  This enables you to keep an audit trail of visitor access, as well as generate compliance and operational reports that provide the ability to aggregate and analyze guest sign in data across multiple sites.

Specific compliance initiatives that companies should be aware of include:

PCI DSS

The PCI DSS - a set of comprehensive requirements for enhancing payment account data security - requires compliance from all companies who either process or store customer account data, with use of visitor tracking software, and is very specific in terms of requirements for Visitor Management. FDA Bioterrorism

In late 2004 the FDA issued their Final Rule on the Establishment and Maintenance of Records to Enhance the Security of the U.S. Food Supply Under the Bioterrorism Act.  By requiring ‘persons who manufacture, process, pack, transport, distribute, receive, hold, or import food to establish and maintain records’, the use of visitor tracking software is implied. The FDA specifically requires companies to establish guest sign in, increasing the awareness of every visitor who comes in and out of their facilities.
